Putin 'morally responsible' for 'unsurvivable' Novichok poisoning of Dawn Sturgess, inquiry finds

Reads today's BBC (4/12/2025) news site following the update from the Salisbury Novichok findings post an extensive review. In Salisbury in 2018 the Skipals were subjected to an assassination attempt by the Russian state. Fleeing the scene the two Russian GMB agents threw away the bottle of Nina Ricci perfume that contained the neve agent - which was found in a bin (I mean who searches through bins?) and given to Dawn Sturgess who unfortunately died at the hands of Russia.

So to my headline question? How does this affect our relationship with Russia? Well it's not good. Russia continues to deny they were involved and sure we have our nerve agent capabilities for the UK just down the road at Porton Down outside of Salisbury. But we are told the Novichok sed was so pure it was the genuine deal - not backward engineered by the Porton Boffins. As of today the Russian Ambassador has been summoned to the Foreign Office for a right kicking - Russia will continue to deny this - there's not a lot we can do except complain. When you want to consider getting a plan together is IF we break off diplomatic relations with Russia. At that point I've always said - it's time to RUN!!!! Or batten down your hatches at the very least.
